Week 3: Let’s Pass A law

Obviously we’re not going to pass a law. I’m not in political office and I can only assume that neither are you. This shouldn’t keep us from deciding what we want our government to do. Over the next two weeks, we are going kick off a challenge: We are going to write a new bill of rights. Ten articles in total. A new one each weekday. I don’t know what they all are yet and you are more than welcome to toss out some suggestions. I’m hoping this will be both fun and informative, not only for you but for myself as well.

If you would like to throw out suggestions, comment on any of the posts with your thoughts. Either way, keep an eye out for new posts every weekday at 11am (last week, due to an error in attention paid, I scheduled Thursday’s post at 11pm. This will not happen again). There are no set rules for what the articles of our Bill of Rights will be other than that they should hope to be practical, impactful and meaningful. We can use this exercise to envision our own ideal world.

If you feel so inclined please like, share, and interract with the posts as it will drive readership and help the community grow. I can’t wait to see how the next two weeks play out.

Thank you,
J. D. Shepard
